Joy As Wamboka Offers Full Scholarship To 20 Needy Students Joining Secondary Schools

Guest Writer

Bumula member of the national assembly Jack Wamboka on Monday offered full bursary to 20 bright but poor students joining high schools.

This is to cushion them from failing to join their schools of choice based on their family level of poverty.

Wamboka stated that as the area Mp, he decided to offer the beneficiaries full bursary to help them concentrate on their education.

The Bumula Constituency NG-CDF “Masomo Kwanza” full scholarship program targets to educate bright but needy students across the constituency.

“This is among our holistic interventions to uplift the sector, empower generations and invest in my people,” he said.

Today, 20 students from across the 7 wards accompanied by their parents received cheques for their full year fees and Ksh 10,000 each for shopping to enable them join National and Extra-county schools across the country.

He Congratulated the beneficiaries and assured them of my unwavering support and urged them to continue giving their best, be disciplined and put Bumula on the map in their secondary education and beyond.

The elated students and their parents were thankful for the golden lifetime opportunity, kind gesture and promised to give their best and make us proud. The applications for bursaries are also ongoing to support Bumula students pursue their education.
