President William Ruto and Deputy President Kithure Kindiki both called for national unity and the strengthening of families during Christmas services on December 25, 2024.

Ruto, speaking at AIC Olpisiai Church in Narok County, urged parents to closely monitor their children, particularly during the festive season.

“For us to build a strong nation, we must have a strong foundation for our children and strong families,” Ruto said.

“As we celebrate this moment, we must also remember to celebrate our children, our families, and our nation.”

The President also appealed for unity among Kenyans, emphasizing that the country’s future relies on the strength of its families and communities.

“Let us unite as Kenyans as we celebrate, but let us also act in restraint to avoid accidents, promote peace, and seek God’s blessings,” he added.

Ruto was accompanied by the First Lady during the service.

Meanwhile, Deputy President Kindiki, speaking at a separate Christmas service, highlighted the importance of resolving national issues with love, diplomacy, and understanding.

“We must resolve all our issues as a country with love, diplomatically, with understanding and patriotism,” he said, urging Kenyans to embrace these values for the country’s peace and prosperity.

Both leaders’ calls for unity and family-centered growth reflect the government’s commitment to fostering harmony during the holiday season and beyond.
