The Football Kenya Federation National Super League is set to begin this weekend with a thrilling lineup of ten matches. Newly promoted Administration Police Service (APS) Bomet will host Mombasa United at Bomet Stadium, where coach Evans Mafuta aims for a winning start in his first game at the helm.
Mafuta expressed confidence in his squad, stating, “We want to kick off our campaign on a winning note. We have signed quality players, and I trust them to deliver. We had a good pre-season and can’t wait for the league to start.”
In another match, Nzoia Sugar will begin their quest to return to the Kenyan Premier League against Fortune Sacco at Sudi Stadium. Meanwhile, Naivas will face the Michael Olunga Foundation Academy (MOFA) at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.
Luanda Villa, managed by veteran coach Gilbert Selebwa, will take on Kibera Black Stars at Mumboha grounds in Vihiga County.
Darajani Gogo will welcome Migori Youth at the Kenya Institute of Highways and Building Technology (KIHBT) Grounds in Ngong’, while Muhoroni Youth face Dimba Patriots at Muhoroni Stadium.
Sunday will see Andrew Ongwae’s Samwest Black Boots clash with SS Assad at Vapor grounds in Ngong’, and Kisumu All Stars hosting newcomers 3K FC at Moi Stadium in Kisumu. Mombasa Stars FC will entertain Nairobi United at Serani Sports Club.
Mully Children’s Family (MCF), coached by Vincent Nyaberi, will take on Vihiga United at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos. Nyaberi is determined to start his campaign on a high note, saying, “Our target is to pick maximum points at home. The game against Vihiga United will be tricky, but I’m confident we shall win.”
As the season kicks off, fans can expect an exciting start to the National Super League, with teams eager to make their mark.
