GOVERNOR’S PRESS UNIT


The county government of Bungoma has received a standing ovation on their outstanding performance on implementation of service charters , good governance, response to complaints from the public and easy access to information.

This means that the county government under the leadership of Govenor Kenneth Lusaka has performed exemplary in service delivery to the citizens.

Bungoma received the award during the fourth edition Huduma award ceremony, organized by the Commission of Administrative Justice (office of the Ombudsman) in Nairobi’s KICC today.

The award is meant to reward outstanding public officers and institutions under Public Service Delivery and Access to Information Categories.

The award launched in 2014 aims at rewarding public officers from different departments for their exemplary work in serving Kenyans.

The award was received by governor Kenneth Lusaka in an occasion that was graced by cabinet Secretary for public service Moses Kuria together with his Tourism counter part Alfred Mutua .

Bungoma scored and aggregate of 79 percent.
