She pledged that Catherine Wambilianga, the Woman Representative of Bungoma, was steadfast in her mission to ensure that girls in the county received the menstrual pads they needed to break free from the challenges that have plagued them for far too long.

“Our primary goal is to address the challenges faced by girls who often lack access to sanitary pads, which can have a significant impact on their education and overall well-being,” Sellah passionately articulated. She went on to emphasise the importance of the mentorship and pad drive programs.
“Through this programme, we aim to provide essential sanitary pads to these young girls, ensuring their comfort and hygiene during their menstrual cycles.”

The initiative, aptly named the “Mama Catherine Wambilianga Pad Drive Distribution and Mentorship Programme,” was met with an overwhelming sense of appreciation and optimism from the students and their families.
