Kasarani political aspirant Benard Waliuba, popularly known as “Mutu Kazi,” has praised President William Ruto’s choice to appoint former Bumula Member of Parliament Mwambu Mabonga as the new Chairperson of the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA).
Waliuba described Mabonga—his neighbor, close friend, and namesake(Mabonga)as an honest, committed and generous leader dedicated to public empowerment.
He noted that the strategic state appointment reflects the administration’s deliberate pivot toward energetic, capable leaders to drive the national agenda.
The endorsement coincides with Waliuba establishing strong grassroots momentum for his own political ambitions.
He confirmed that advanced plans are underway to officially launch a parliamentary bid for the Kasarani constituency seat on a United Democratic Alliance (UDA) ticket.
Aligning his vision with the President’s platform, Waliuba expressed absolute confidence in a victorious campaign, stating that his team has thoroughly laid the groundwork directly at the doorsteps of Kasarani residents to lift the community to greater heights.
