Kenyans will pay a little less at the pump after the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority announced a marginal drop in fuel prices in its latest monthly review.
In Nairobi, the price of petrol decreased by Sh0.79 to retail at Sh184.52 per liter. Diesel saw a minor cut of Sh0.11, now retailing at Sh171.47. Kerosene dropped by Sh0.80 to Sh154.78.
The new prices will be in effect for the next 30 days. EPRA said the adjustments reflect changes in global oil prices and landed costs.
Fuel prices remain a sensitive issue in Kenya, where transport and household energy costs weigh heavily on consumers already grappling with high living expenses.
