Seth Panyako Claims He Knows Who Killed Cyrus Jirongo

Seth Panyako, the DAP-K candidate who lost the recent Malava constituency by-election and a former top UDA official, on Saturday claimed he knows the people responsible for the death of veteran politician Cyrus Jirongo.

In statements shared online, Panyako asserted that Jirongo’s death was not accidental but did not name suspects or provide evidence. It remains unclear whether he has shared the information with investigators.

Jirongo, a former Lugari MP, died earlier this month following a road accident in Naivasha.

Police and forensic officials have maintained that preliminary findings point to blunt force trauma from the crash, saying investigations are still ongoing.

Panyako’s remarks have reignited public debate and speculation around the circumstances of Jirongo’s death, with calls from some quarters for a deeper probe.

Authorities, however, have urged the public to avoid speculation, saying the matter remains under active investigation and will be forwarded to the Director of Public Prosecutions once complete.
