Teso Unity & Moving To The GOv’t Isn’t Negotiable- Says Arthur Osiya

By Reuben Olita

The Principal Administrative Secretary in the Executive Office of the President Arthur Osiya revealed that Teso unity and moving enmasse to support President Dr William Ruto’s administration is not negotiable.

Addressing Christians after attending Sunday service at Anglican Church of Kenya St Thomas Amagoro Church, the PAS said his ambition is to see the Iteso community move in one direction.

” I will not relent until I see the community in the government. We need to emulate some communities, which have their mouthpieces, who give direction on the destiny of such communities,” said.

Osiya said nobody can stop Ruto from winning his second term in 2027, telling the Iteso that there is no of producing children if they remained divided and with no direction to follow.

” Listen to me and join Ruto’s government. If you don’t listen, I will wash my hands, ” he said, challenging sceptics that he is old enough to chart the community’s destiny.

He went on:” Teso North MP Oku Kaunya should continue his work and so is Busia Governor, H.E Dr Paul Otuoma. I don’t want their work, although some offices will be unconstitutionally vacant in 2027.

Leaders who attended the church service lauded Mr Osiya’s move to unite the Iteso community, vowing to support his quest to have the community move in one direction.

The chairman Lake Victoria North Water Services Board John Imoite thanked the president for appointing him to chair the water body.

” We need to start planning today about 2027 elections instead of waiting until that time lest we shall fail in rallying the community into the government,” he said.

He vilified leaders who say Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua talks a pack of blatant lies, telling Mr Osiya to give them direction to be in the government vowing that Ruto will not lose in 2027 elections.

Former Angurai East MCA Joab Oteba told Osiya to give them direction, pledging they would stand with him in solidarity.

Former Malaba Central Ward MCA Benard Papa said the community needs its mouthpiece, telling the Teso Community to support the PAS in his quest to realize its socio-economic and political development.

Former Angurai North MCA Mauruce Chetambe urged the church to pray for Iteso to unite and become one instead of the current sharp division, which has led to underdevelopment.

Archdeacon Ben Oriama regretted that some parts of Malaba North Ward were impassable telling area MCA Hon Patrick Oriama, who was present to serve residents equally without discrimination since he was their father
