Residents of Kimilili Constituency have intensified calls for Masinde Nguti to take up a greater leadership role, citing his track record of humanitarian work and commitment to community development.
Speaking to this newspaper, several residents said Nguti has, over the years, earned the trust of many through his consistent support for vulnerable families, sponsorship of needy students, youth empowerment initiatives, and charitable activities across the constituency.
They argued that his people-centred approach to leadership has distinguished him from other political figures, saying the constituency needs leaders who prioritize service delivery over political rhetoric.
According to the residents, Nguti has remained accessible to ordinary wananchi and has continued to support community projects despite not holding a public office. They expressed confidence that his leadership would bring fresh ideas and accelerate development in key sectors, including education, healthcare, infrastructure, and youth employment.
“Leadership is about serving the people, and Masinde Nguti has demonstrated that through his humanitarian work. We believe he has what it takes to lead Kimilili Constituency to greater heights,” one resident said.
