Bungoma Governor Kenneth Lusaka has urged residents to uphold culture as a tool of cultivating morality in the society.

“Culture is everything. Our heritage binds us to our roots. It instills discipline and morality. Let us pride ourselves in it, for the sake of our future generations”,He Said
Lusaka acknowledged the vital role by the cultural values in moulding community standards.
“We are a product of the good values from our rich culture. The outlined does and don’t provide a baseline within which we operate from”,He noted.
The Governor further complimented the art industry for the enormous contribution towards his election bid, leadership and development agenda, committing his endless support.
“I want to appreciate our local artists and the entire arts for the great support. My administration is keen on nurturing and cultivating talents across the countycounty, ” Said lusaka.
Lusaka spoke at the celebration of Bukusu Culture, Kamukuywa Cultural Centre, an event graced by the Cabinet Secretary Youth Affairs and Arts Ababu Namwamba and attended by Mukhisa Kituyi, CECM Gender and Culture Eng. Agnes Wachiye among other leaders.
