Ojamoong Takes A Break From Active Politics

Former Busia Governor Sospeter Ojaamong has revealed that he had taken a rest in politics until further notice.

Addressing mourners during the burial service of Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology (JOOUST) lecturer Dr Naomi Mogoria at Amagoro Primary School in Teso North Sub County on Saturday Governor Emeritus said retiring shortly from politics was on his own voalition.

” I am retiring from politics shortly. Let me rest at home, and maybe I will bounce back in 2027, Godwilling,” Hon Ojaamong said.

He added:” I still have a lot of energy to discharge duties in any capacity other than the Governorship,thus my believe that I may bounce back in 2027 general elections.

Governor Emeritus said he is ready to work with elected leaders to enable them to implement their development agenda.

The former county boss said he is ready to work with those in leadership to implement its agenda for the benefit of county residents in realising better service delivery to county residents.

“The current administration is already one year in office. It should tell us their scorecard to date, ” Ojaamong said.
