NAIROBI, Kenya (IP).
For years, I have championed the empowerment of women, because I believe when you uplift a woman, you uplift a nation.
Today, I must speak to an even deeper wound in our society — the toxic grip of tribal politics.
Kenya does not belong to one region, one community or one name. It belongs to all of us. Our greatest strength lies in our unity, not our divisions.
History has taught us this truth. Leaders like Ronald Ngala and Masinde Muliro hailed from different regions, yet they stood together as brothers, bound by a shared vision. They didn’t see tribe — they saw a country.
Every Kenyan, no matter their origin, deserves development, opportunity and dignity.
Roads, schools and hospitals must not be privileges for a few but rights for all. These facilities must reach every corner of the country because every Kenyan matters.
There are no “big” or “small” tribes in this nation. There is only one identity that should guide us — Kenyan.
Let us reject those who sow division for personal gain. Let us instead stand firm in building a Kenya grounded in unity, love and progress.
Ends.
