Paul about Boys High School,Kapkong’
By Godfrey Wamalwa
The release of the 2025 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) results will forever remain a defining chapter in the story of Paul Boit Boys’ High School–Kapkong.
It is a moment written not just in grades and numbers, but in sacrifice, perseverance, and an unbreakable belief in the potential of every boy who walked through the school gates.
The school recorded a commendable mean grade of 8.2443 (B-), posting a positive deviation of +0.6893. Out of 221 candidates, an inspiring 88.2 per cent attained grades that qualify them for direct entry into university.
Behind each of these results lies countless early mornings, long nights of revision, quiet tears of frustration, renewed courage, and unwavering determination.
The grade distribution reflects a collective rise. With 17 A- grades, 30 B+, 45 B, and 57 B-, alongside strong performances in the C+ and C ranges, the results speak of progress earned through resilience.
The absence of D and E grades stands as a powerful symbol of hope, proof that no learner was abandoned and that every effort mattered.
At the centre of this journey is steady, purposeful leadership under Principal Shem Busolo, the engine behind the school’s transformation. His emphasis on discipline, teamwork and consistency planted belief where doubt once lived and replaced fear with focus.
Under this leadership, students were reminded daily that greatness is not accidental , it is built through small, faithful steps taken every day.
Teachers became more than instructors; they became guides, mentors, and pillars of strength.
They walked with learners through moments of exhaustion and uncertainty, choosing patience over pressure and encouragement over despair.
Their commitment turned classrooms into places of hope where students learned not only to pass exams, but to believe in themselves.
The often-unseen work of the support staff held the school together.
Through order, care, and dedication, they ensured a safe and stable environment where learning could thrive.
Their quiet service formed the backbone of the school’s daily rhythm, proving that every role matters in the pursuit of excellence.
The Board of Management provided vision, stability, and reassurance, ensuring that leadership was supported, facilities improved, and staff motivated.
Their guidance strengthened the foundation upon which success was built, allowing the school to move forward with confidence and unity.
For parents, these results represent answered prayers. For students, they mark the reward of resilience.
For the school community, they affirm a powerful truth, that when discipline meets compassion, and effort meets belief, extraordinary outcomes are possible.
As Paul Boit Boys’ High School looks to the future, the KCSE 2025 results stand as more than an achievement.
They are a testimony that no dream is too distant, no struggle too heavy, and no effort ever wasted when a community chooses to believe, work, and rise together.
