Hon. Chris Wamalwa Breaks Up with Ford Kenya — Sources Say “It’s Complicated,” Others Say “Susan Nakhumicha”

Former Kiminini MP Chris Wamalwa has officially unfriended Ford Kenya, citing frustration, betrayal and a mysterious disappearance of internal democracy—last seen during party nominations.

Speaking at a consultative forum in Sikhendu, Wamalwa said he stood with the party in rain, sun and political storms, only to be rewarded with silence and side-eye.

But as politics loves honesty served with whispers, insiders say the real plot twist is this: Health CS Susan Nakhumicha is being lined up as the Ford Kenya gubernatorial candidate.

Translation? Seats were rearranged, names were penciled in, and Wamalwa noticed his chair had been removed entirely.

Not one to wait for the credits to roll, Wamalwa has now turned his political binoculars toward President William Ruto’s camp, praising the “national outlook,” “broad platform,” and—between the lines—a place where his ambitions can still breathe.

Across Trans Nzoia, the debate is loud: is this ideology, strategy, or survival instinct finely tuned to 2027?

Either way, Ford Kenya has lost a familiar face, Ruto’s camp has gained a new admirer, and Susan Nakhumicha has unknowingly become the most powerful reason in the room—without issuing a single statement.
