President William Ruto has appointed Faith Boinett as the Non-Executive Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Kenya Pipeline Company Limited for a three-year term, according to an official government notice.

The appointment, made through the Presidency and communicated by the President’s Press Unit, takes effect immediately and will run for three years, in line with provisions of the State Corporations Act.

Boinett, an advocate of the High Court of Kenya, brings extensive experience in corporate governance, compliance and public sector oversight.

She has previously served in senior leadership and board roles across public institutions and private entities.

Kenya Pipeline Company is a strategic state corporation responsible for the transportation, storage and management of petroleum products across the country and the wider region.

The board chair provides strategic oversight and policy direction, working with management to ensure operational efficiency and accountability.

The appointment comes as the government continues to reconstitute boards of state-owned enterprises as part of broader reforms aimed at improving governance, performance and service delivery.

No additional details were immediately provided by State House regarding the criteria for the appointment.
