Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro
“Ndindi Nyoro spotted opposing the government loudly while quietly banking its profits. More at 9.”
By IP reporter.
NAIROBI — If Kenyan politics were a soap opera, Ndindi Nyoro would easily bag “Best Actor in a Double Role.”
By day he’s the fiery critic of President William Ruto’s government.
By night he’s cashing in on the very policies he denounces thanks to a tidy little arrangement with Sidian Bank.
Here’s the kicker: the SHA and Housing Levy deductions the same ones Nyoro has been railing against are processed through Sidian Bank.
Who owns a slice of that pie? You guessed it: Ndindi Nyoro himself with 3.47% via his company Telesec Africa Ltd.
His buddy Solomon “Solo,” a Mathira MP hopeful owns a much juicier 24.95% via Wizpo Enterprise Ltd.
Both, of course are dyed-in-the-wool Ruto loyalists even if they ‘sleep’ with the opposition.
So while Nyoro breathes fire at political rallies, screaming about government betrayal, somewhere in the background a bank teller is quietly processing deductions into his shareholder dividends.
Opposition? More like profit-sharing with extra drama.
Some insiders whisper this is less rebellion and more strategy ; a clever ploy to chip away at Rigathi Gachagua’s hold on Mount Kenya.
Call it political judo: divide the mountain, weaken Riggy G and all the while keep one hand inside State House and the other inside the bank vault.
For the wananchi, it’s a confusing circus; One minute Nyoro is the “people’s defender,” the next he’s smiling all the way to Sidian Bank.
Maybe that’s the secret: in Kenya politics isn’t about blowing hot or cold. It’s about blowing smoke while quietly pocketing the matchbox.
At the end of the day, Kenyans are left with lighter payslips, louder rallies and leaders who somehow manage to oppose government policies without ever missing the profits from them.
Talk about sleeping with the government while pretending to snore.
Did You Know? (The Money Trail)
The SHA and Housing Levy are processed through Sidian Bank.
Ndindi Nyoro owns 3.47% via Telesec Africa Ltd.
Solomon “Solo” (Mathira MP aspirant) owns 24.95% via Wizpo Enterprise Ltd.
Both ‘were’ close allies of William Ruto and now ‘oposing’ him.
So next time you hear “opposition” speeches, remember: sometimes it’s just shareholders arguing over dividends.
