I’m thrilled to announce a major milestone for Bungoma: the official launch of the Mteremko-Sango Bridge. Spearheaded by Governor Kenneth Lusaka, this pivotal project is set to transform transportation in our region.
Enhancing Connectivity in Bungoma
The Mteremko-Sango Bridge now links the Luuhya/Bwake and Bukembe East wards, significantly cutting travel time and improving access to essential services for our residents. This vital infrastructure will enhance mobility, support local businesses, and drive economic growth in Bungoma.
Part of a Broader Vision
This bridge is a key element of Governor Lusaka’s broader plan to modernize Bungoma’s infrastructure. By investing in such projects, we are not only improving transportation but also contributing to a more prosperous and connected community.
Upcoming Projects
During my visit, I also inspected the nearly completed Nasaka-Kibochi Bridge, another important project that will further enhance Bungoma’s transportation network.
